It is alleged that the accused, Akeremisi Ola had on the 4th of November and together with 5 others gang raped a 13year old girl. The 5 accomplices who are at large are still being haunted by the police. Meanwhile, Ola's ultimate fate remains unknown pending an advise from the State Director of Public Prosecution.
Rape is an offense punishable by law according to 358 and 516 of the Criminal Code, Vol. 1 Law of Ogun State, 2006. The case was adjourned till Nov. 25 for mention.
